Product of the Month for September

Well hello, my darlings. I am so excited to tell you about the product that I’ve recently started using this month. I’ve written before about the condition of my skin so finding a good foundation with great coverage and a natural look has been challenging for me. I need something that isn’t too heavy or greasy. Like a lot of us, I like to appear natural without actually being natural. I also look for something that I can wear every day and won’t break the bank every time I need to replace it.

This foundation works wonders. It is so light on my skin. I use TCDF14 (Golden Honey) and TCDF17 (Cappuccino). Depending on the amount of coverage that you are looking for, you just use more drops. I was pleasantly surprised when I didn’t have to use too many drops. I apply the foundation with a brush only. A sponge will only soak up the foundation. I use an EcoTools Retractable Kabuki brush. The brush is soft and applies the foundation evenly on my skin.

NYX Total Drop Foundation lasted on my skin for pretty much the whole day. I have to admit that I was impressed. I was worried at first because the product is a little runny, however, I very quickly realized that I had nothing to worry about. Using the two shades provide great color matching and blended so well with my skin tone. I used the Golden honey in the middle of my face and the Cappuccino on the outer edges. Toward the end of the day, I did reapply my powder as my face did get a little shiny. That has happened to me with every foundation that I’ve used. A lot of other foundations I’ve used have gotten cakey after reapplying my powder. The NYX Total Drop Foundation didn’t do that.
